Thank You Neighbors!

Thanks to everyone who sponsored, participated and assisted  the “If This House Could Talk,” walking tour on Sunday, Sept. 16.

A very special thank you to the Sacramento Old City Association (SOCA)! The House Talk walking tour was featured as part of the annual SOCA Historic Home Tour in our neighborhood. As a result of their huge promotional efforts, the turnout was tremendous! Nearly 2,000 people who came to tour the homes, also walked past our House Talk yard signs.

Please contact us if you have stories to share.  Or if you want advice on setting up your own tour, please contact Janice Kelley at outdoorjan@att.net.

If This House Could Talk is based on the Cambridgeport, MA project of the same name. It is supported in part by funding from the  National Storytelling Network,  Friends of the Ella K. McClatchy Library, The Newton Booth Neighborhood Association  and Sacramento Old City Association.
